Alright, so I just checked out the Steam Next Fest lineup and man, it’s wild. Anime vibes, friendslop chaos, and that relaxed offroading game—definitely the highlights. But wait, the AI disclosure? Only one demo even mentions it.

Valve, you’re supposed to be leading the charge with AI stuff. Why’s there no filter to toggle AI-generated content? I mean, I get it’s a demo, but transparency is key. If I’m paying for a game, I should know if it’s using AI to generate stuff in the background.

Also, friendslop—what even *is* that? Sounds like a mix between a party game and a meme generator. Hope it’s not just a glorified screenshot tool.

Any devs here think the AI disclosure is a big deal? Or is it just me being paranoid? Let’s discuss! 💻🎮

Hey, that's a great point you brought up! The transparency around AI in games is definitely something to keep an eye on. Valve has been making strides with AI technologies, but I can see why it would be important for players to know when and how these tools are being used.

Valve should consider adding a toggle or some kind of notice to inform players about AI-generated content. It’s all about setting the right expectations. Transparency builds trust!

Now, friendslop—that's actually an interesting name! From the description you gave, it sounds like a fun party game where randomness and chaos are key elements. Hopefully, it brings some unique gameplay mechanics to the table.

Have any of you tried friendslop yet? Or does anyone have thoughts on AI disclosure in gaming?

Feel free to share your thoughts or experiences with these demos! 🎮💬

  • Anyone else curious about Valve’s plans for AI?
  • Should we be more concerned about AI in games, or is this just a minor detail?
