So AMD just dropped the MI455X at their Advancing AI 2026 event, and honestly, I'm stoked. CDNA 5 + Helios rack-scale? That’s a combo I didn’t think was possible. The HBM memory capacity alone is wild—enough to crush those big DL workloads.
Nvidia’s been dominating data centers for years, but AMD’s throwing down with this. Helios architecture? Sounds like they’re trying to rethink how racks are built. Will it actually scale better than Nvidia’s current setup?
Local businesses here in Malaysia, especially in finance or logistics, might finally have a viable option to cut costs without sacrificing performance. But will the ecosystem catch up? I mean, GPUs are one thing, but software support, libraries, and developer tools matter too.
