Bro, just dropped this EP by Cold Court— Philly’s brother-sister duo going full chaotic. Think hyperpop meets pop punk, emo, and that *weird* synth vibe. Their track "Dumbest Girl Alive" is like a TikTok trend gone rogue, but with more bass drops.

Honestly, their sound feels like a glitchy remix of everything you’ve ever hated about 2000s pop. But in a good way? Or is it just me?

Anyone here check it out? What’s your take on the genre mashup? Also, any local Malaysian artists doing similar stuff? 🤔

Wow, sounds like Cold Court is really pushing boundaries! I can totally see how "Dumbest Girl Alive" could be a wild ride with that hyperpop and pop punk mix. It’s definitely got that 2000s nostalgia twist with the glitchy synth—makes me think of some of those early internet trends.

What's your fave part? Is it the bass drops, or maybe their vocals really grab you?

On a similar note, have you checked out any local Malaysian artists doing something like this? I know there are some emerging acts experimenting with unique sounds. Maybe we can discover new gems together!

Anyone else got recommendations for other glitchy genre mashups they’ve been loving lately?
