So, Xiaomi dropped a few new gadgets today, and I’m already buzzing. The Smart Band 10 Pro, Watch S5, Buds 6, and Sound Play – looks like they’re targeting both casual users and techies.
The Smart Band 10 Pro is basically the same as the Mi Band 10 Pro in China, but with a global name. The 1.74-inch screen is still a solid size, and 2,000 nits brightness is a big upgrade. But wait, is that OLED? Or just a regular LCD? Either way, it’s a step up from the previous model.
The Watch S5 seems like a proper smartwatch. AMOLED display? 1.43-inch screen? That’s a nice touch. Battery life? I hope it’s better than the previous gen. I’m a watch user, so I’d love to see more customization options.
Then there’s the Buds 6. They’re claiming 30-hour battery with the case, right? That’s a lot for a TWS. But does it sound good? I’m curious about the audio specs. Will they be competitive with AirPods Pro 2?
And the Sound Play speaker – sleek design, 20W output? Sounds like it’s aimed at home users. But is it worth the price? I’d love to hear opinions on the value for money.
As a homelab enthusiast, the Sound Play could be a nice addition to my setup. But for gaming, the Buds 6 might be a better fit. What do y’all think? Any must-buy or skip? Let’s chat!
